Multimedia
Multimedia used in a web page may include video, audio and animations in addition to text and static graphics. When considering multimedia accessibility, it is important to ensure that the meaning can be understood by a user who can’t see or hear the multimedia. When including a multimedia presentation in a web page, an accessible equivalent alternative must be provided and synchronized with the presentation. If a plug-in is required to access the information, the plug-in must be readily available to the user.
